Hey, Bukena,

You have 32 posts, so you could even miss out posting till July 2011 and still be safe from the purges. Of course, we then miss your monthly hellos.

These forums are a good way to learn some phrases of another language.

Dear all,

Hi, Happy New Year 2011! How have you been doing? After Xmas my family drove down to Osaka, my hometown, and enjoyed holidays with mother, parents-in-law, and relatives. It snowed on our way back so it took 11 hours to get back home.

What is this, ancient big cannon? No, this is the biggest drum in the world. Traditional instrument in Indonesia.

We dropped in at the Hamamatsu instrument museum. Hamamatsu is the city of Yamaha. Here is worthwhile visiting once for all musicians and music fans. Guitars are vintage Panormo, Spanish Flamenco model, and some, no big name. Traditional folk instruments are so many. We really enjoyed.

By the way, the weather has been lovely here. a few days of 36 degrees C and not much wind. Lovely weather for taking the dog for a walk on the beach in the evenings.

And who would have thought our friends down under in Queensland and even New South Wales would be having the troubles.
Any on the list from Brisbane?

Anyone here know folk in New Zealand? If so I trust they are well in light of the earthquake.

If you are interested in history, I have a book coming out, probably early October, about Victor Breitburg, a Holocaust survivor. If interested you can find updates at http://breitburg.blogspot.com.
